What a finale we had last night! Thank you, everyone, for the congratulations and words of encouragement. We’re thrilled to be on this journey with you. So, what’s ahead?

BACKERKIT PLEDGE MANAGER

Kickstarter Producer, Andy Gill, is hard at work on the Pledge Manager. We hope to have it live by the middle of next week and it will run through at least March 12th.

If you happen to be new to Kickstarter, the Pledge Manager is where you’ll confirm your reward selections, add-on any other rewards you wish to receive, and enter your shipping details and settle up on shipping. In the event that your shipping information changes during the course of production and before we ship, then you’ll be able to update your info there.

There will also be a short survey when you open the pledge manager with some questions that help us get to know our community of players better so we can plan our follow up to this awesome campaign.

So expect an email from Backerkit.com early next week. We’ll send out an update once the pledge manager is live, as well, so you’ll know to check your inbox.

PREVIEW ROUND

Our planned files-to-press date is the end of March in order to stay on target for our September delivery. By popular demand, though, we’ll be conducting a preview of the books and cards by sending out PDFs ahead of that date — hopefully around mid-March — so that we can incorporate changes to anything you spot, like typos that might have slipped through. Then, as soon as we have the core setting book hyperlinked, we’ll send out the final PDFs to everyone while the physical books are printing.

Once the three books, cards, and tiles are off to press, we’ll commence work on all of the additional material that we unlocked as stretch goals. There are a few months of work for us on those documents so I can’t say how long it will take before that material is available to preview, but we’ll update you along the way and release items as they are done. Then, the PDFs that are part of the GM Toolbox will get compiled into one final volume. By then, we’ll also have options for print-on-demand if we don’t have a better solution before that for backers who would like to have a physical version of that compilation.

We’ll also have new artwork to show you before too long for the GM screen and then the new book cover for the compilation!

THE RED OPERA

If you’re chomping at the bit to get your adventure on, then check out The Red Opera RPG by our good friends over at Apotheosis Studios.

The Red Opera RPG is an incredible 5e campaign set in the Shadelands where players will explore a Warlock-ruled city and get caught up in the machinations of the occult Patrons who dwell within it. It’s an epic saga, filled with intrigue and mystery, with magic and danger at every turn!

And as the clock strikes midnight, that’s a wrap on the Iron Kingdoms: Requiem Kickstarter campaign!

Your overwhelming and incredible support has elevated the funding for the Iron Kingdoms: Requiem project beyond what we dared hope for. We are truly grateful for each and every one of our backers, and this new edition of the Iron Kingdoms roleplaying game would never had been possible without YOU.

With the amazing support of 6,835 backers, we have added a dragon’s hoard of content, upgrades and enhancements to this project. By counting the full value of the Retailer Reservation pledges (over $20k) we have far exceeded our $605k goal and unlocked the final Updated Timeline stretch goal, bringing the grand total to a whopping 37 unlocked stretch goals!

We have also completed the Crowd-Sourced Art Direction showdown, and by a landslide, Option 2 — Shadow of the Dragonfather — has been selected by the Iron Kingdoms community to be painted for the new GM screen! We can’t wait to get this illustration done and we’ll share it with you as soon as it comes in.

More updates will follow in the coming days with information about the pledge manager and updates on print-on-demand options for the digital materials, VTTs, and several other topics we’re following up on that came out of our dialog with backers during the course of this campaign.

We are thrilled to see the Iron Kingdoms RPG community reinvigorated and ready for adventure! And we look forward to embarking on this new era of the Iron Kingdoms with you. On behalf of everyone at Privateer Press, we thank you for bringing this project to life.

NPC GALLERY UNLOCKED!

With just over three hours to go, we have crossed an incredible $585k in funding and unlocked the NPC gallery, which will include the stats and bios for several of the Iron Kingdoms’ most famous and infamous personalities.

Can we make it to $605k and unlock the Timeline? What if I told you we already had...

Thanks to your incredible support, Iron Kingdoms: Requiem has passed $565k, unleashing the horrifying grymkin Slaughterhouse into the pages of the Monsternomicon!

With nine hours to go, this project is still moving! Less than $20k away, at $585k, we’ll create a gallery of notable NPCs of the Iron Kingdoms that will be added to the GM Toolbox compilation.

Thanks to your support, we have pushed beyond the limits of what we dared hope to achieve with this campaign! Crossing $545k, we have unlocked the GM Toolbox Compilation, which will combine the PDF supplements into one document with all new cover art, yet to be commissioned.

We also know many backers have expressed an interest in a print version of these materials and we are investigating options. While we cannot create the materials in time to print them with the three books that comprise the main rewards of this project, we are looking into Print-On-Demand and other methods of delivery and we will update you in the weeks to come once we determine the best option.

With one day left, we are steaming toward yet another stretch goal! At $565k, we’ll add the horrifying grymkin Slaughterhouse to the Monsternomicon!
