Shipping Update
almost 3 years ago – Fri, Jul 09, 2021 at 11:43:18 PM

Hello Adventurers!

I just wanted to drop a line and let you all know that the books have made their way to the printers - and they are being produced as we speak! However, we hit a bit of a snag. Currently, there is a global shipping container shortage that is effecting all ocean bound freight - so, while originally the books were scheduled to arrive in our US warehouse on the 7th of August, it's been pushed back to the 7th of September. Once we get those, we'll start shipping out pledges as fast as possible, so you'll be able to start holding your books in mid-September!

We'll be back soon with an update on the GM Toolkit PDF and the digital tokens!

FINAL PDFs AVAILABLE NOW!
almost 3 years ago – Sat, May 29, 2021 at 01:20:27 AM

Greeting Adventurers!

We are pleased to announce that the final updated PDFs for the Iron Kingdoms: Requiem Core Book, the Monsternomicon, and the Legend of the Witchfire Adventure are now available to download.

You can either await the email from Backerkit with the direct link to your digital downloads, or log in to your Backerkit account, head to digital downloads and start downloading right now.

We're currently on track for a November delivery of the physical rewards and we'll have an update for you in the next few weeks on the progress of the GM Toolkit documents and digital stretch goal rewards.

Have a great weekend!

BOOKMARKS AND HAND GRENADES
almost 3 years ago – Fri, Apr 30, 2021 at 03:57:25 AM

Greetings Adventurers!

A few issues popped up upon release of the book PDFs yesterday and we want to let you know that we're on the case!

First, the  grenade stat error as well as the Agile Essence stat error will both be fixed in the final print product. Once we receive proofs of the book from our printer, we’ll be able to swap out the pages with correct versions.

Regarding the digital bookmarks, this is an issue that snuck past us because they weren’t actually supposed to be active. Somehow they were activated, but were never organized, which is why they are a mess. We’re going to go back to the files and correct the book marks so that they work properly, and then we’ll re-distribute an updated PDF file. This is likely to take a couple of weeks and we’ll update you once the files are ready to download again.

IT'S DOWNLOAD DAY!
almost 3 years ago – Fri, Apr 30, 2021 at 03:47:37 AM

Greetings Adventurers!

It’s Download Day!

At this very moment thousands of emails are going out from Backerkit to your inbox with the links to down load the final PDF files of the Iron Kingdoms: Requiem Core Book, the Monsternomicon, and the Legend of the Witchfire adventure. As well, you’ll find in your available digital downloads in Backerkit the Iron Kingdoms poster map, digital PDF files of the Spell Cards and Warjack/Mechanika cards, as well as PNG files of the Battlegrid tiles if you pledge for any of these items in physical or digital form.

If you haven’t received your emailed download links or just don’t want to wait, feel free to log in to your Backerkit account and start downloading away. These are big files and there is a lot to download!

While you're waiting for your many files to download, and for a lighter take on the dark times in the Iron Kingdoms, take a look at our Riot Quest: Chilly Con Carnage Kickstarter project, now in progress and over 330% funded!

Meanwhile, stretch goal content is well underway and we should have some updates for you in the next few weeks. Until then, happy adventuring!

PREVIEWS AND PROGRESS REPORT!
about 3 years ago – Fri, Apr 16, 2021 at 11:15:44 PM

Greetings Adventurers!

We’ve got a mighty update for you today loaded with previews, progress reports and information about the future of Iron Kingdoms: Requiem. But first, a quick announcement about our next Kickstarter project, Riot Quest: Chilly Con Carnage, launching this coming Tuesday!

If you’re wondering what took place between the Claiming and the beginning of the Iron Kingdoms: Requiem timeline, then look no further! Riot Quest is the chaotic arena skirmish game about looting the leftovers of the post-apocalypse Iron Kingdoms, before civilization began to rebuild. You can follow our Kickstarter PREVIEW PAGE and learn more at RiotQuest.com.

IK: REQUIEM PROGRESS REPORT

We are pleased to announce that all of our print files for the books, cards, tiles, posters, packaging and the GM screen were delivered on time to our printer this week. We appreciate all of the feedback we received from backers who dove right into the PDF previews, enabling us to correct as many typos as possible — thank you very much.

Speaking of the GM screen, check out this epic scene showing an adventuring party caught between Toruk and a hard place! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)

Now comes the wait! In a few weeks, we’ll receive proofs from our printer to review before all of the materials go on press. After that, production and packing will take a couple of months before the whole shipment is loaded on an ocean freighter. We anticipate the shipment arriving before the end of August, at which time, we’ll begin the enormous pack out process. With over 7,000 individual orders, this will take some time, but we are currently right on schedule for our anticipated September delivery.

In the meantime, work has already commenced on the stretch goal bonus materials. RPG Development Manager Matt Goetz has made tremendous headway on the content going into the GM Toolkit as well as the other player handouts. And what we thought was going to be a few handouts for the Legend of the Witchfire adventure has turned into a virtual guide of the city of Corvis! Below are several snippets and excerpts of the various documents in progress:

(Note: These are works-in-progress. Text is not final and is subject to change.)

One of our most immediate next steps is to complete the hyper linking of the Iron Kindoms: Requiem Core Book. Once that is done, we will do a ‘Grand Launch’ of the final PDFs as well as the digital versions of the card sets and tiles. We’ll keep you posted on this and expect it to be within the next few weeks.

Until next time, be safe and well and have a fantastic weekend!
